I am excited that i finally have a chance to tell Ray Lynch what a profound influence he has had on me as a writer. My father heard Deep Breakfast playing in a store, and brought it home when i was nine. I was addicted from the first time i ever heard it, and stunned at the beauty my ears encountered. "Highly emotional" is an understatement of description concerning Mr. Lynch's pieces. More recently, i bought the new release, The Best of Ray Lynch, and incredibly enough i found a new piece of music that affected me almost more than any of his previous songs to date. "The Music of What Happens" defies description. I have played it again and again daily, to feel the rush of pure pleasure that rings true and enables me to want to capture the world. i wish words were able to do what your music can, Ray Lynch. The world thanks you.

I just wanted to say that I have been moved not only by your music but also the letters you have posted on your site. It is inspiring to read about the effect your creativity has had on so many individuals. My life has been filled with anger, rebellion, and vengeance. After being kicked out of my fathers house, I began a journey to California, and a new state of being. The 3,000 mile trek gave me a lot of time to think about my life, and your music played a large role in getting my mind straight. The combination of the many awe inspriing sights, and the masterful composition of your music, captivated my mind throught the entire trip. I just want to say thank you, your music means so much to so many people.

I first listened to your music in a "New Age" store in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and asked them about it. I asked them to play Celestial Soda Pop again. I was so moved by the sound the aura it created, I had to have it. I have found your music to move me spiritually and emotionally. When I need time to myself to gather myself, I find myself playing all of your CDs. Thanks Ray and look forward to many more years of "Enlightenment".

The combination of the magical music and the ethereal surroundings made for a rather spiritual experience. Thank you for that memory.

A friend sent me your web site today and I must say I was very happy to read all the wonderful things you've written, and to listen to some of pieces.

In 1984 or 85 I first heard Deep Breakfast. It is my favorite music. I always take it camping and play it in the mornings while everyone is having coffee and coming awake. Although we are all pretty much country music fans, I've never heard anything but very nice comments regarding your music. I've bought several of your other tapes, but nothing compares with my love for Deep Breakfast.

I knew you had to be from Texas -- Your loving fan - Diane

In 1994 my wife gave me Deep Breakfast as a Christmas gift. In the four years after, I bought all the rest of your CD's, and listened to them many times. Through music you've profoundly touched the places where soul flourishes. Thanks for sharing the treasures of your art with the world.

I first heard your music in the spring of 1989. I was in a store in Galena, IL and they were playing "No Blue Thing". They had it on repeat, so first I heard "The True Spirit of Mom & Dad" and then the title track. I bought the cassette and listened to it endlessly. The next spring I purchased your other two albums as well. After that, I began to spread your music around playing it for friends. I am mainly into The Beatles and other 60's and 70's music, but I truly love your style. Your melodies and arangements are amazing. I always know it is good music when I can turn it off and still hear every note inside my head.
I just want to thank you for the enjoyment and solace your music has brought me. And I am always eagerly awaiting more. Thank You

Just wanted to let you know that the music you create is wonderful and exciting to listen to. WhenI have days that feel like they will never end or what else can go wrong, I put your music in the stereo and my weakened spirits are uplifted. I have been listening to your music since I was 16-17 years old and love all of it. Your music has helped through some rough times in highschool, college and the workforce. Your music is excellent for studying to, relaxation, and pure enjoyment. I will forever recommend your music to people I meet. Best of luck with future creations.

Dear Ray,
Excellent music. I have been listening to your music for many years, even before knowing anything about you. It is the kind of music that draws out a persons capacity for happiness and lightens the heart. The many combinations of instruments and moods makes your music sing and talk, and the listener want to dance, laugh and be joyful, even when there seems no reason to do so. It reminds me of my Satguru, Adi Da Lovenanda Samraj! Your music is a delight. Thank You

Dear mister Lynch!

Hello, my name is Juan (John). A few years ago my father was listening to a very mysterious but beautiful musik. I sat down next to him. When this Musik had end i asked him what it was! He told me DEEP BREAKFAST! From that day on I listened to
that CD almost every night before falling asleep. It always helped me sleep and scare the bad dreams away. Today I still listen to your musik and even try to play it on the keyboard (with success). I was going to ask you far a favour. If you could send me an E-mail dedicated to my father! It would make him VERY happy! Soon it will be father's day so maybe i could surpise him since my relation to him hasen't been the best in the past. So i'm trying to make the best of what time is still giving me. Time doesn't wait! It just goes away. Like if u miss a train. It won't wait till you're ready, right??
Please think of it, ok?!

Thanx!!!
Juan

My mother was recently at my grandparent's house for a few days. When she came home (today) she brought a tape with. She told me my grandmother had recorded this because it reminded her or my music.

I am an electronic composer myself, and when I first popped the tape in, the first song that played was "Celestial Soda Pop". I was, and still, am infatuated with Ray's Music. Currently, the tape is playing for it's second time and it has just reached "Rythem in the Pews" and I am literaly grinning because of the beauty and the incredible layering of his music.

How do you do it, Ray. I want to become as good as you.

When I was still in diapers, my mother used to play the album Deep Breakfast, almost religiously. It was always in the CD player, I completely became accustomed to it. Somewhere around that age, the CD player broke and the eject never ejected again...for eight years, the CD player was pretty much just a tape player, until one day, when I was ten years old, I took out a screw driver and pried open the CD-player and found the Deep Breakfast CD (I had only looked there because we just got a computer and discovered it could play CD's...and we didn't have any CD's, but there "may have been some that got stuck in the CD holder in the [broken] CD player"). I found the Ray Lynch CD that had been abandoned, and played Celestial Soda Pop for the first time in so many years. Through the cheap 1994 Macintosh speakers I heard a song that had moved me as a baby ... a song I had completely forgotten about ... it brought me to tears. Just hearing this music again that surrounded me as a child brought up so many blissful emotions.

Since then I have been a complete dedicated Ray Lynch fan. Being 13 years old, I experiment with different types of music: whatever's in the latest "fad", from pop to rap to goth to alternative, and usually I wind up disregarding most artists after a month ... but my love for Ray Lynch's music has lasted. I could never get tired of the enlightening compositions that Ray puts together. It's my "Mood music". I listen to it while doing virtually everything that a typical adolescent does.

I admire Ray Lynch more than I could ever express. He's one of my heroes, I'm one of his #1 fans. The fact that he has such a love for music, and the best vibe of any artist I listen to makes my affinity for all of his albums skyrocket. I can't even express it in words ... all I can say is ... I LOVE YOU RAY! :)

Way back to 1986, I buy a CD called Your Music and Celestial Soda Pop was on it. I loved this song from the start. When my wife was pregnant, that was her favorite song and this is the favorite song of my little boy.

And now, I buy the Best of.... WOW! I didn't know you're this great!!! The song "In the garden of..." that you've called your most classical piece is, for my part, a real MASTERPIECE. And the dance remix of Celestial Soda Pop is awesome... I really fear this one before I play it but I really like all this album.

Thanks a lot Mr Lynch

I first heard Ray when travelling to La in 1988 since then I am proud to say that I have listened with pleasure nearly weekly. A male friend of mine at work recommended this CD to me because I am flying to Jamaica on Monday and Im very frightened to fly. I told him I needed a CD player and some music to relax me. He said I might have a little trouble finding the recording as it was a bit old. Well my 18 year old daughter was in town visiting me and I told her the name of the album and she said she had been listening to this album every night before bed for years. It belonged to her boyfriend. We went to Borders Book store and she found it right away. I took it home to listen to and was instantly pulled right into the sensuality and beauty of this music. I could not believe how moved I could be from such beautiful music. Now I too listen to it every night before I go to bed. I also listen to it when I ride my HealthRider. Im up to track 4 which is my favorite.Your feeling shoulders I get tears poped into my eyes very time I hear it. What a beautiful song to make love to. I also now have Nothing above my Shoulders but the Evening and The Best of but I still think Deep Breakfast is my favorite. Thank you Ray Lynch for making such beautiful music for all of us to enjoy

You are the only artist that has ever touched me that way. I have the latest 3 of your albums.

I first discovered your music in 1995 when travelling with "Up With People", I cannot tell you how many miles I have travelled in that bus listening to "No blue Thing". Excellent album to help fall asleep, stress off or just listen to. That CD brings back memories of endless US prairies, mountain ranges, and the host family that helped me discover your music. (How could I ever thank them...)

You are, unfortunately, almost unknown in Europe, your songs are not played on the air, and the CD shops rarely have your albums. What a pity.

"Tak for din indsats for musicverdenen, Ray" - thank you for introducing the world to such wonderful music.

From a fan in Denmark.
